Sunday Mornings at Orchard

Chatting on the PatioJoin us for worship on Sunday at 9 or 10:30 am. We are a casual and friendly church so don’t be surprised if you get a warm welcome as you make your way to the patio. We offer multiple opportunities for in-depth Bible studies for all ages at 9 and 10:30 am. Children are welcome to participate in our worship service – or learn and play with their peers in age-appropriate classes. The general schedule* is as follows:

9:00 am
  • Worship Service (service length approx. 60 minutes)
  • Nursery Care for Infants
  • Children’s Sunday School for preschool – 5th Grade
  • High School & Middle School Sunday School
  • Men’s Fellowship hour
  • Parent’s Fellowship hour
10:30 am
  • Worship Service (service length approx. 70 minutes)
  • Nursery Care for Infants
  • “Orchard Kids” for preschool – 5th Grade
  • Rotational in-depth Bible studies open to adults and high school students

* Occasionally we combine for a single worship session at 10:00 am.  See the church calendar for details.

Each worship service is about an hour and both the 9am and 10:30am are the same format.  Worship usually contains the following:

  • Worship Music with one of our bands
  • Special Children’s Message during the 10:30 session (Children come to the front if they want)
  • Offering (optional for guests)
  • Sermon Message
  • Communion on the first Sunday of the month

Children of all ages are welcome in the worship service and there is an infant cry room on the west side of the main worship room. During the 10:30am service, all children start off with their parents in the main worship building.  After a few worship songs and the Children’s Message, children (preschool to 5th grade) are escorted downstairs to “Orchard Kids”.

Children in Church

Nursery ToyOur nursery is located downstairs and immediately to the left.  It is always staffed with loving and fully trained volunteers so your infant is well cared for.  We offer pagers to parents so you are never out of reach.

Jesus Loves You9:00am Session
Parents are encouraged to bring their children (preschool to 5th grade) to Sunday school downstairs in the children’s area. While the children enjoy playing and learning with their friends, parents can join an adult Sunday school or participate in main church worship upstairs.

10:30am Session
All children start worship with their parents in the main worship building. After a few worship songs and a special kid’s message, children are escorted downstairs to “Orchard Kids” for crafts, play and learning.

Children are always welcome to join their parents in the main worship building. Coloring books and clipboards are available in the west side of the worship building.

More Information

We offer Sunday school to students from 6th grade to 12th grade in the youth building at 9 am.  The youth building is located to the north of the main worship building near Telephone road. Youth Sunday school begins with “Story Time”, musical worship and a short bible lesson.

Our goal is to make intergenerational connections between students and adults here at Orchard. Opportunities to learn and serve together help to develop relationships within our congregation. Students are encouraged to join the Children’s Ministry Team and help with Sunday School. They are encouraged to join our Worship Bands or many other aspects of our Worship Services.

Adult small groups and Sunday school classes are offered most of the year. Classes are offered at the 9 am or 10:30 am time so that adults may attend a class as well as main church worship.

More Information

Our dress code is that there is no dress code. Feel free to dress comfortably because we believe God looks at the heart and not designer labels. (But stylish dress is fine too!)

Communion - Grape Juice and BreadCommunion is offered on the first Sunday of the month for those that wish to participate.  Bread and grape juice are presented at stations and all ages are invited to come forward.

Kids & Communion

We ask our members to make a financial faith commitment and collect an offering during every service. Visitors are welcome to contribute if they wish, but are under no obligation. The money that is collected goes toward the operating expenses of the church, providing youth ministry opportunities, helping to assist the hungry and homeless locally, and working to provide clean water and opportunities to spread the Gospel abroad.

Our campus is fully accessible with wheelchair ramps, special parking and other assistance. If you have any special needs please talk one of our greeters or our staff. We want to make sure everyone can have the full experience of worship at Orchard.
