Women’s Ministries

Women of OrchardWomen of Orchard Community Church grow in faith and friendship through various ministries, groups, and activities both on and off-campus. We offer several small groups for women of all ages and stages of life. The goal is to be and have a place of support and encouragement through the ups and downs of everyday life, to grow deeper in our understanding of God’s word, and to know fully the power of God’s love.

Just because we can’t meet together in person doesn’t mean our groups can’t meet. There are many different small groups to fit your schedule. Email Linda Young to get plugged into a group.

Relying on the Holy Spirit - Women's Bible Study Fall 2020Fall Women’s Bible Study

What does it mean to live a “Spirit-filled life”? Women, this fall is your opportunity to find out! Women’s Ministries is pleased to announce that we will be studying “Relying on the Holy Spirit” by Charles F. Stanley this fall in our Bible study groups.

We will be starting September 8 and 9, with Tuesday evening groups from 7:00 pm – 8:45 pm and Wednesday morning groups from 10:00 am – 11:30 am.  For the foreseeable future, we will continue to meet via Zoom. We have experienced great success with this method of being together and hope you will join us. This is a wonderful way for us to be encouraged as we study and share with one another. There are a number of us who are able to walk you through the simple process of learning how to Zoom, so if the technology makes you uncomfortable, please reach out!

We are requesting that you order your own book, which you can do so on Amazon or via your favorite local or Christian bookstore. For any questions, you can contact Linda Young at

Join us as we learn that God wants each of us to understand who the Holy Spirit is and how we can be led by the Holy Spirit on a daily basis.

Prayer Quilt MinistryPrayer Quilting Meetings

Join us in making and praying over quilts (and knitted or crocheted blankets, as we get them from our needle-crafting friends) for those in our community who are celebrating new babies, dealing with illness, moving into assisted living, or who might otherwise need a reminder that they are loved and are being prayed for. Contact Deya at or the church office for more information!

Peace In the Midst – 2019

“It was amazing!”

And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7

All of us at one time or another long for peace in the midst of busy, trying times. God promises that we can have His peace anywhere, anytime. Women's Retreat 2019 Photo Collage
