Kitchen Basics Kits

May & June

Collection Drive

Individuals, couples, and families are able, with the assistance of their case manager, to move into permanent housing. They are excited and nervous about now being inside. Adjusting to living in a safe indoor quiet environment takes almost a year. An additional stressor to moving in is the need for essential household items. Many do not have the financial means to furnish and supply these very basic items.

We want to help ease the transition into their new home by providing the basic needs for their new kitchen. Our goal this year is 30 Kitchen Basic Kits. Please register the items you can provide. Items do not need to be new but need to be in good condition.

Items can be dropped off on Sunday mornings (look for the bins) or bring them by the church office during the week.

Ten Most Impactful Stories in the OT

April 27 - June 29 | 9-10 AM

Library

We will briefly review and discuss the Who, What, Where, and When of the ten top events from the Old Testament. All adults are invited to attend. No Bible study background is required. We will share our experiences and our opinions, so there will be no "wrong" answers.

Men's Pizza & CI Maritime Museum Tour

May 17 | 10 AM-4 PM

Channel Island Maritime Museum, Oxnard

All men are invited to explore maritime cultures, stories, model ships, art, and artifacts from around the world.

We will meet at Orchard at 10 AM to carpool to Topper's for pizza, followed by a guided museum tour. This is a free event hosted by The Orchard Men's Ministry. Registration is required.

Young Adult Night @ Golf n' Stuff

BofA Performing Arts Center, Thousand Oaks

This amazing SUPERBAND recreates the dynamic performances of: The Temptations, Stevie Wonder, The Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Martha Reeves, The Four Tops, The Jackson Five, and many more legends.

We will carpool to the Bank of America Performing Arts Center for a 4 PM show and then have dinner together after. Please RSVP to the Music & Concerts Common Interest Group once you have purchased your ticket.

Forest Home Registration

Forest Home Summer Camp

July 27- August 1, 2025
$460 ($100 non-refundable deposit due at sign-up)

Current 2nd-4th graders who will be 3rd-5th graders in Fall 2025 are invited to attend Summer Camp at Forest Home in Forest Falls, CA. We will sleep in yurts for 5 nights in the mountains. We will have a week of fun, friendship, and faith as we enjoy a beautiful lake and pool, outdoor activities, and campfire worship. This is the year's highlight for our students who have gone before.

Hundreds of students gather each week for an amazing time of worship, teaching, community, and EPIC free time.

Students will be encouraged and challenged to live a life that’s leveraged for the glory of Jesus as they get to encounter Jesus in a unique way! In this environment students not only hear and read about loving one another, they will get to experience it firsthand!
