Sunday Classes at Orchard
Sunday Morning Classes and Groups
A variety of Sunday classes are offered throughout the year for all ages. Sunday classes are a great place to make friendships while digging deeper in your faith – no matter how new or old your faith is!
Orchard Kids Sunday School
(For preschool through 5th grade)
COVID UPDATE:
We encourage families to bring your own blanket and beach chairs and distance on the lawn as much as you like. Children will worship with their families and be dismissed following the kids’ message, escorted by our Orchard Kids’ Leaders to our beautiful outdoor classroom space in the children’s play yard. We will have our Bible story, activities, crafts, and games in a specially designed format following current health and safety guidelines. Parents, please come to the children’s area immediately following the worship service and find all of your children in one place. Each family will receive a “My Church Bag” to be brought each week with basic supplies already included plus items from home: water bottle and mask for each child and a blanket for all siblings. Our team is so excited to see your family! See you Sunday!

We use the Orange First Look curriculum. The entire curriculum is constructed to meet your child where they are cognitively, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. Through age-appropriate activities, preschoolers are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate to Kindergarten they know these three basic truths.
God Made Me
God Loves Me
Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever
For the older kids, 1st – 5th grade, everything we teach is based on one of three basic, but powerful, truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52. The curriculum is designed to provoke discovery and invite kids into a new understanding of how to grow in relationship with Jesus.
I need to make the wise choice.
I can trust God no matter what.
I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Children preschool to 5th grade worship with their families for the first 15-20 minutes of the service. After a time of singing, prayer and a Children’s Message, kids will be dismissed to our children’s program where the same story is retold but there are new games and activities to reinforce the message.
On the first Sunday of every month, 3rd to 5th graders are encouraged to stay in worship with their parent(s). Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month. For more information on what it means for your child to take communion, see: Children and Communion.
