Sunday Morning Programs

Orchard Kids

Birth-3yrs           Nursery/Toddler Rm
Preschool           Room 7
Kinder                 Room 6
1st-3rd                   Room 5
4th-5th                  Room 8

We use the Orange First Look curriculum. The entire curriculum is constructed to meet your child where they are cognitively, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. Through age-appropriate activities, preschoolers are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate to Kindergarten they know these three basic truths.

God Made Me
God Loves Me
Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever

For the older kids, 1st – 5th grade, everything we teach is based on one of three basic, but powerful, truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52. The curriculum is designed to provoke discovery and invite kids into a new understanding of how to grow in relationship with Jesus.

I need to make the wise choice.
I can trust God no matter what.
I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Children preschool to 5th  grade worship with their families for the first 15-20 minutes of the service.  After a time of singing, prayer and a Children’s Message, kids will be dismissed to our children’s program where the same story is retold but there are new games and activities to reinforce the message.

On the first Sunday of every month, 3rd to 5th graders are encouraged to stay in worship with their parent(s). Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month. For more information on what it means for your child to take communion, see: Children and Communion.

Groups and Classes

These groups and classes are open for all adults and high school students.

Parents’ Life Group: 9 am in Library

Connect with other parents at 9:00 in the library on Sunday mornings as we dig into what God says about life as a family. Find ways to strengthen your relationship with God so life is more enjoyable, filled with opportunities, and less frustrating. This group is facilitated by Rich & LuAnn Smith.

Men’s Fellowship hour: 9 am in Farmhouse

This is a great time to come together as men, learn about the Bible and walk together in Faith. This group is facilitated by Gabe Gonzales and Nagi Basta.

Adult Sunday School Class: 10:30 am in the Library

Kings & Prophets: Who Were Those Guys?
Or – What Went Wrong or Right After David & Solomon?

Jehoshaphat & Jehu – Micaiah & Hulda – Joash & Josiah – Elijah & Isaiah – And Many More Names that are familiar and obscure, many that are hard to pronounce, but all with something to teach us about living as God’s people in difficult times. If big sections of the Old Testament are like foreign territory, if Shemiah and Ahijah just don’t ring any bells, if Elijah and Elisha sound like a 60’s folk group — or if you’d just like to keep growing in your faith – join us on Sunday mornings at 10:30 in the Library – you’ll be glad you did – guaranteed!
